PROJECT OVERVIEW

"Retro Future" is a 112-page fanzine that explores past visions of the future juxtaposed against current technology. This ambitious project was completed in just 1.5 months, showcasing my ability to manage complex creative endeavors efficiently.

CHALLENGE

The main challenge was to develop a visually striking fanzine that effectively blends nostalgia with innovation. This required integrating AI-generated imagery with traditional editorial design while maintaining a cohesive and engaging narrative throughout the publication.

SOLUTION

To address this challenge, I employed a combination of cutting-edge AI technology and classic design techniques. I used Adobe InDesign for layout and Midjourney AI for generating 95% of the illustrations. This approach allowed me to create a clean, professional layout that balances informative content with visually engaging elements.

Key aspects of the solution include:

• Seamless integration of AI-generated imagery with traditional design elements

• Development of a consistent visual language throughout the fanzine

• Careful curation of content to ensure a balance between entertainment and intellectual stimulation
